3 years for stealing five car batteries

A Bahrain court sentenced a local man to three years in prison after he was found guilty of stealing five car batteries from a garage.

Police had arrested the man after he was caught on security cameras driving past the garage before stopping his car and entering the place.

Police said the man received a tough sentence as he already had a police record involving committing a number of crimes in the Gulf kingdom.
