Al Bayan celebrates 31st anniversary

Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), the parent company of Arabic daily 'Al Bayan', celebrated the newspaper’s 31st anniversary on Monday.

Ahmad Abdullah Al Shaikh, Managing Director and Director-General of DMI, expressed his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on the occasion.

He said the DMI is a product of Sheikh Mohammed’s endless support and great attention.

He thanked Sheikh Mohammed “for the unlimited support to the national institution that has taken upon itself to establish the concept of transparent media and committed to the transfer of information and the image to the domestic and Arab public in a very credible, impartial and objective manner.”

Al Sheikh also expressed his appreciation for Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Board of Directors of DMI, for his efforts to follow personally the institution’s development at all levels, especially in terms of training and qualifying national cadres that are running important functions in various departments and sections of DMI.

The Director-General of DMI congratulated all the staff of the newspaper and its readers, expressing his confidence that 'Al Bayan' will continue its on course to develop and serve the UAE’s national and humanitarian causes.
