Asian gang held in Sharjah for liquor trade

Sharjah Police arrested 10 Asian workers involved in dealing with liquor in violation of the emirate’s rules that ban alcohol.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the living quarters of the 10 workers from India and Bangladesh and seized a large quantity of liquor.

Police said the 10 confessed to selling liquor to other works in a number of industrial areas in the emirate.
