Busy Ras Al Khaimah road gets new radar

Ras Al Khaimah Traffic Department has installed a new advanced radar on Sheikh Mohammed bin Salim Street near the entrance to the emirate.

The maximum speed on this busy three-track road will be 120kmph.

Colonel Abdullah Ali, Director of Traffic in Ras Al Khaimah, said the new radar was installed because excess speed was the main cause of accidents on this road.
