Emirati woman killed in Fujairah road crash

An Emirati woman was killed after losing control of her car and hitting a steel barrier in the middle of the road near Dibba Al Fujairah on Sunday.

Police said the woman, in her 20s, was rushed to hospital but died after suffering serious injuries in the head and the pelvis.

“The accident was caused by sudden swerving to another lane, causing the driver to lose control of her vehicle,” Fujairah acting traffic police chief Lt Abdullah Al Khuzaimi said.
