Four warehouses in Ajman gutted after fire breaks out [video]

A major fire gutted four warehouses in Ajman’s Industrial area on Wednesday, with Civil Defence teams from Dubai, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain joining in the efforts to contain the blaze.

The fire broke out in the afternoon, rapidly spreading to neighbouring warehouses that housed paints and plastic materials.

Brigadier Saleh Saeed Al Matrooshi, Director of Ajman Civil Defence, lauded the outstanding efforts put forth by team members from the four emirates, which were able to battle the blaze and contain it before it spread further.

No casualties have been reported, with the cause of the blaze still under investigation.
