Gen Mohammed, Hosni Mubarak hold talks

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and visiting Egyptian President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak, have discussed bilateral relations between their countries and ways to further promote them as well as coordination on regional and international issues.

Discussions took place at a meeting at Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

Welcoming President Mubarak, Sheikh Mohammed described relations with Egypt as outstanding and a model for brotherly relations established on strong foundations of mutual understanding and amicability.

President Mubarak is in the UAE as part of a regional tour to Gulf countries.
