RAK firm fined Dh100K for illegal hiring

A company in Ras Al Khaimah was fined Dh100,000 for hiring two expatriate workers who are not under its sponsorship in violation of labour and immigration laws.
 
The court issued its sentence against the contracting firm owned by an Asian after the two workers were caught by labour inspectors at its construction site.
 
The court also fined the two workers Dh2,000 each and ordered their deportation.
