Timber warehouse burns in major Ras Al Khor fire

A huge fire broke out on Friday evening in a timber warehouse in the Ras Al Khor industrial area of Dubai. Columns of smoke were seen rising from the area.

Fire engines of the Civil Defence and ambulances rushed immediately to the scene and worked hard to control it and to prevent the fire spreading to adjoining warehouses.

Arabic daily Emarat Al Youm quoted a Dubai Police source as saying that the fire did not result in any casualties.
