Traffic diversion for Mafraq interchange

Traffic from Abu Dhabi to Al Ain will be diverted temporarily to execute road works associated with the reconstruction of Mafraq interchange in the capital over the weekend (August 27 and 28).

The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City and Abu Dhabi Police GHQ-Traffic and Patrols Directorate has announced that traffic will be diverted at the end of the existing detour towards Al Ain to two lanes instead of three lanes from 1am on Friday to 5pm on Saturday.

The detour will also be executed for the same time period over the weekends on the following dates: September 3 to 4, September 10 to 11 and September 17 to 18.

Motorists have been requested to follow the traffic rules and abide with the speed limit.
