UAE beachgoers warned of rough sea at weekend
The beachgoers in the UAE have been warned from beach activities due to rough weather and high waves.
A press statement issued on Wednesday by National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) warned from sea surfing and other beach activities due to high waves and strong winds.
It said that on Zarqa, sea wave height is 8 feet with winds measuring up to 26 knots, on Zakum, sea wave height is 7 feet with winds measuring up to 20 knots.
Meanwhile, on Um-Al-Sheef, sea wave height is 6 feet with winds measuring up to 22 knots and on Arzanah, sea wave height is 5 feet with winds measuring up to 18 knots.
