Emirati Jasem Al Beloushi lives forever in hearts of Indians

Senior Indian consulate officials in Dubai recently visited the home of the late Jasem Eissa Al Beloushi, the Emirati firefighter who lost his life during the rescue operation of passengers aboard the Emirates airline flight EK521 that was involved in an accident last week.

In attendance was the Consul-General of India to Dubai, Anurag Bhushan, along with the deputy Consul-General, K Muraleedharan, and other senior diplomats.

The group visited the firefighter’s home in Ras Al Khaimah, and presented a letter of condolence in Arabic to Al Beloushi’s family.

The 27-years-old firefighter lost his life while putting out the fire aboard the Emirates flight that was involved in an accident on August 3 at Dubai Airport.

Flight EK521, travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai, crash-landed with 282 passengers and 18 crewmembers on board.

All on board were safely evacuated from the Boeing 777-300 aircraft after the accident.

Earlier this week, the Civil Defence Centre in the Indian state of Kerala saluted the heroism of the Emirati firefighter.

Emirates news agency, Wam, reported that the Civil Defence Centre in Thrissur City in Kerala, posted a photo of Al Beloushi on the front facade of the centre ‘in tribute to his heroic act and sacrifice as a role model for firefighters across the world’.

Indian delegation extends condolences to Emirati martyred firefighter

A delegation from Ma'din Academy (Ma’dinu Ssaquafathil Islamiyya) of Kerala, India, have extended condolences to the family of Emirati firefighter Jassim Eisa Al Baloushi, who was martyred while trying to rescue the passengers of an Emirates airline aircraft which was involved in an incident at Dubai International Airport recently.

The delegation also conveyed condolences from Sayyid Ibrahim Khaleel Al Bukhari, chairman of Ma'din Academy to the Al Baloushi family.

Al Bukhari said his memory will live on in the hearts of Indians and the students and staff of the academy in particular.

The delegation prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the soul of the martyr with mercy in Paradise and give patience and solace to his family.
