Funeral prayer performed for martyr Hamoud Al Ameri

Worshippers yesterday performed funeral prayer for martyr Hamoud Ali Al Ameri at the Armed Forces Martyrs Mosque in Al Ain.

The GHQ of the UAE Armed Forces mourned on Friday the death of Al Ameri during his participation in the Saudi-led Arab coalition 'Operation Restoring Hope' in support of the legitimate government in Yemen.

Saif bin Zayed offers his condolences


Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, offered his condolences on Saturday evening to the family of martyr Hamoud Ali Saleh Al Ameri.

Al Ameri was a courageous Armed Forces' serviceman who succumbed to the injuries he sustained while participating in the Arab coalition forces’ ‘Operation Restoring Hope’ in Yemen, led by Saudi Arabia to support righteousness and legitimacy in Yemen.

During his visit to the mourning tent in Al Ain, Sheikh Saif expressed his condolences and sympathy to the family of the martyr; praying to the Almighty Allah to have mercy on the martyr’s soul, to grant him eternal peace in heaven amongst the martyrs and to provide his family with comfort and solace.

Hamed bin Zayed offers condolences

Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, has offered condolences to the family of Hamoud Ali Al Ameri, who was martyred while performing his national duty as part of the UAE Armed Forces' participation in the Arab Coalition's Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.

Sheikh Hamed expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the family and relatives of the martyr and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the souls of all Emirati martyrs with mercy in Paradise.

Tahnoun bin Mohammed offers condolences

Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region, has offered his condolences to the family of martyr Hamoud Ali Saleh Al Ameri.

Sheikh Tahnoun was accompanied by Sheikh Hazza bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Under-Secretary of the Court of Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region, and Sheikh Dhiyab bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan.

Military honour

A special military honour attended by senior armed forces' officers was held this morning for the nation's martyr Hamoud Ali Saleh Al Ameri.

After the honorary procedures, the military chopper airlifted the martyr's body to Al Ain city.

The General Command of Armed Forces mourned on Friday the martyr Al Ameri who took part in the Saudi-led Arab coalition's Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.

The martyr was receiving treatment in one of the German hospitals where he succumbed to his injuries.   

Earlier, the UAE Armed Forces announced that serviceman Hamoud Ali Saleh Al Ameri succumbed to injuries he had sustained in an accident in September in the Yemeni province of Maareb during his participation in operations carried out by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to restore legitimacy to Yemen.

The GHQ of the UAE Armed Forces expressed condolences and sympathies to the family of the martyr and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless his soul with mercy in Paradise.
