Mohamed extends condolences to Al Ketbi's family
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today extended condolences to the family of martyred serviceman Sultan Mohammed Ali Al Ketbi, who fell while performing his national duty as part of the UAE Armed Forces' participation in Operation Restoring Hope, conducted by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to back Yemen's legitimate government.
He praised the Emirati martyr's heroism, courage and sacrifice and described him as an exemplary brave commander with the Arab Coalition forces.
The martyrs' heroic and dauntless stances will be perpetuated in the national psyche because they were instrumental in restoring Yemen's land, history and identity, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed added.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed his sincere sympathies to the family of the martyr. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bless his soul with mercy in Paradise and give patience to his family.
He was accompanied to Al Ketbi's family home by Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Diab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security, Nasser Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Energy Authority, Lt. General Juma Ahmed Al Bowardi, Advisor to the Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Staff Major General Eisa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Deputy Chief of Staff of UAE Armed Forces, Staff Major General Abdullah Muhair Al Ketbi, Commander of the Support Units of the UAE Armed Forces.
