Iraq airport closures: UAE flights affected
The Iraqi government has announced that all airports in Iraq will be closed between 1am on April 29 to 7pm on April 30 due to Iraqi election.
To ensure the safety of its passengers and crew, Etihad Airways has made changes to its published flight schedule and cancelled flights to Baghdad, Basra and Erbil.

Options for passengers
Etihad Airways is offering options for passengers who have purchased tickets to travel to/from Baghdad, Basra and Erbil, on or before, May 2, 2014 and who now wish to alter their flight plans.
They may change to another date of travel on/before May 18, 2014 in the original class of booking, or if the original booking class is not available, passengers will be offered the next available class.
Etihad Airways said fees for passengers wishing to change their tickets are waived for this one instance only. Any subsequent changes will be subject to normal re-issue fees.
Cancellations and refunds are permitted free of charge whether ticket is wholly or partially utilised. The refund on partially utilised ticket will be calculated based on the pro-rata mileage flown.
