Nawaz Sharif’s plane in emergency landing

A private plane carrying Pakistan's main opposition leader Nawaz Sharif on Friday was forced to land at Lahore Airport after its windscreen was damaged.

The plane was flying from the southwestern city of Quetta, south-western Baluchistan province, to a Hasilpur town in Punjab province when its windscreen was damaged forcing it to land at the airport in Lahore, according to a civil aviation official.
 
The jet landed safely with no injuries.
