24 hurt in gas cylinder blast at Saudi restaurant
A gas cylinder blast injured 24 people, some seriously, at a popular Saudi restaurant on Sunday and police said the explosion caused massive damage to the place, newspapers in the Gulf Kingdom reported.
The blast occurred in the morning at Amm Ali restaurant in the western Red Sea port of Jeddah when the place was packed with customers for breakfast.
Police said the injured had been taken to two hospitals and that some of them suffered serious injuries. They said they would identify the wounded after investigating the accident.
