30 die as boat capsizes off Gabon

At least 30 people died when their boat capsized off the coast of the Gabonese capital Libreville, near Cape Esterias.

AFP journalists on Thursday counted 30 bodies lying along the coast as their boat was visible off shore. Police said the boat, which was carrying 65 people, capsized in stormy weather overnight on Wednesday.
