Child killed in police chase of drug dealers

A 10-year-old Saudi girl was killed after she was caught up in a police chase of drug dealers in the Gulf Kingdom, a local daily said on Sunday.

The girl was with her family in a car when she was hit by a sharp object during the chase in the western town of Alqunfudah, the online Arabic language paper Sabq said.

“She died instantly but other family members were not hurt…sources said she either was hit by flying glass or a bullet fired by the police at the drug dealers,” it said.
