Man gets blood-stained bedsheet at 5-star

A Saudi man has accused a five-star hotel in the Gulf Kingdom of giving him a blood-stained bed-sheet at a room although he paid almost SR1,000 for one night.

The unnamed man, quoted by Sabq newspaper, said he checked in at the hotel in the western town of Taif and went out for shopping.

“When I came back to my room, I noticed that there are blood stains on the bed sheets. I was very angry and asked the hotel management to give me my money back to check out, but they refused,” he claimed.

He did not identify the hotel but said he paid SR990 for one night.

“I informed the Tourism Department in the province and they found out that the room rate is too high but they have not acted against the hotel yet,” the report quoted him as saying.
