Man killed by hundreds of falling tiles

An Indian construction worker in Saudi Arabia was killed after an overloaded tile shipment fell on his head while he was moving it by a crane.

Colleagues watched in horror as hundreds of tiles dropped on the man’s head while he was on the crane at a work site in the western town of Makkah.

“He was killed on the spot…police are investigating the incident,” Kabar Arabic language daily said.
