Saudi jet makes emergency landing
A Saudi aircraft with 430 Moroccan passengers made an emergency landing in Algeria after developing a technical problem in air, a newspaper reported on Monday.
The Saudia flight was en route from Saudi Arabia to Rabat with 430 Moroccan pilgrims when the failure occurred in Algeria’s airspace, the Saudi daily Ajel said.
The plane landed safely in Algiers international airport on Sunday and all the passengers were transferred to another aircraft which flew them to Morocco, the paper said, quoting Algiers airport manager Al Taher Allash.
