School expels two students on gay complaints

A school in Kuwait expelled two school boys after receiving persistent complaints from the parents of their colleagues that the two are gays, a newspaper in the Gulf emirate reported on Saturday.

Before expelling them, the headmaster of the secondary school in Kuwait City summoned the two students and asked them to open their school bags, Alanba Arabic language daily said.

“It was a big surprise,” the paper said. “When the headmaster searched their bags, he found women’s clothes and make-up items…he immediately decided to expel them.”
