Thief bleeds to death in house he broke into

A Saudi thief bled to death after trying to break into a house by smashing the glass window with his leg, 'Alriyadh' newspaper reported Wednesday.

Neighbours phoned the police after hearing a man screaming for help inside the house in Sabhat town in the eastern province of Qateef.

When the police entered the house, whose owners were away, they found the 20-year-old thief lying dead in a pool of blood, the paper said.

“After failing to open the door, he went round and kicked the glass window, slashing the main artery in his leg… He crept inside and started to scream for help until the neighbours heard him and called the police.”
