Yemeni farmer hunts strange animal

A Yemeni farmer captured a strange animal which had killed many sheep and newspapers said it was the first time the farmer saw such an animal.

A YouTube film showed the animal has red eyes and it kept hissing like a snake as it tried to break out of the cage where it was kept.

Yemeni newspapers quoted the farmer as saying the animal is not big in size, but is very fierce and savage.

He said the animal had killed a large number of his sheep before he managed to capture it using a snare.

The papers did not say where in Yemen the father lives.
