Sarabjit Singh’s vital organs missing: Doctors
Doctors who conducted an autopsy on Sarabjit Singh’s body before the burial in his home village in gave chilling details of the attack in Pakistan prison.
According to a NDTV report, the doctors claim that his heart, gall bladder and kidneys were missing.
The head of Forensic Science Department at the government hospital in Amritsar was quoted as saying that the organs might have been removed at the first autopsy for testing.
The 49-year-old was a death row convict at the Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.
Doctors who conducted the second autopsy in India said the injuries were caused by heavy weapons. The bruises also show that the attack was planned.
He was cremated in his ancestral village in the Indian state of Punjab.
