UAE fog alert: Visibility in RAK below 50m

Visibility in Ras Al Khaimah is below 50 metres due to fog, according to an Emirates 24|7 reader, Nisha Arun Gandhi, who posted a message on the website's Facebook page.

While the overall weather in Dubai will remain sunny and Abu Dhabi will be fair, The Weather Channel says there will be haze in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah. RAK will experience a foggy morning.

According to the National Center of Meterology and Seismology (NCMS), the day temperatures will rise and it will be rather hot during the daytime. Night will be pleasant. Light to Moderate wind in general, freshening at times over sea and some openland areas. Sea will be slight to moderate in general.

The mercury is expected to hit 36 deg C today, while the minimum temperature will be around 15 deg C in the internal areas.

The coastal areas will be a little cooler during daytime with the maximum temperature at 32 deg C. However, the minimum temperature will be 17 deg C, thus making the internal areas more pleasant to be in after sundown.
