Warehouse on fire in Dubai's Ras Al Khor

A fire has been reporting this morning in a warehouse near Ras Al Khor industrial area.

Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) has confirmed the incident, with vehicles already on the scene battling the blaze.

The DCD confirmed the news, adding that three fire stations have dispatched vehicles to control the raging fire.

A spokesperson further added: "We received the call at 7.46am and vehicles were on the scene shortly. It is still too soon to determine the cause of fire."

A large plume of black smoke was visible to morning commuters, with several people reporting traffic gridlock in the surrounding areas.
