Four dead in another bus killing in Philippines
Officials in the Philippines say gunmen wearing police uniforms have stopped a passenger bus and show dead four people, including two police marshals.
The latest attack involving bus passengers happened just days after a disgruntled ex-policeman took hostage a busload of Hong Kong tourists in the capital Manila, killing eight of them before he was shot dead by a police sniper Monday.
Police said the bus attacked Thursday was traveling from Cagayan de Oro to Zamboanga city in the southern Philippines - where Muslim rebels and criminal gangs operate.
Orlando Vinas, the Lanao del Norte provincial police chief, says the gunmen ordered passengers to get off and then killed two uniformed police marshals, the driver and the bus conductor. The attackers set the bus on fire and fled.
