French war planes stopping Gaddafi air strikes: Sarkozy

French war planes are overflying Benghazi, preventing Moamar Kadhafi's air strikes on the Libyan rebel bastion, and are ready to attack his tanks, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said on Saturday.
