Sarah Palin says Republicans must 'unite'

Sarah Palin says itÕs time for Republican Party bosses to put aside their differences and capitalize on a series of victories by tea party-backed candidates heading into the November election.

The former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate spoke to about 1,000 people Wednesday night at a gala in Tulsa.

She told the enthusiastic crowd that voters have six weeks to turn things around and 'reign in the federal government.'

Palin also cheered Tuesday's political upsets by candidates affiliated with the tea party movement, including Christine OÕDonnellÕs surprise win in Delaware over veteran Rep. Mike Castle for a US Senate seat.

Palin says it's now time for the Republican 'political machine' to put aside differences to win November 2.
