Scissors removed from child's head
Saudi surgeons removed a scissors from a child’s skull after it penetrated his head while he was playing at home in the Gulf Kingdom.
Doctors in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah said they performed a three-hour operation to remove the scissors which images showed it pierced deep into the skull.
Ajel newspaper quoted anesthesia specialist Dr Ahmed Zaki at King Fahd Hospital as saying the operation was successful and the child was in a stable condition.
The paper said the little boy was playing on the table at his home when he fell down while he was clutching a scissors in his hand.
