Abu Dhabi Gymkhana side win with ease

Zeeshan Safeer and Haseeb Azam snared three wickets each to guide William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana to a convincing seven-wicket victory over the Veterans Cricket Association team from Hyderabad in the 23rd Sharjah Ramadan Tournament for the Interface Transworld Cup at the Sharjah stadium on Monday night.

The tournament, organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council, is supported by 106.2 HUM FM and CBFS as associate sponsors.
Safeer conceded just six runs for his three-wicket haul while Azam gave away 21 as the visiting team from India were shot for 82 in the 22nd over. Only K.V. Seshagiri (40 off 30 balls with three fours and one six) offered some resistance.
The Abu Dhabi team raced to the easy target in just 11.3 overs with Haroon Iftikhar remaining not out on 24. Irfan Haider made 20 off 13.
