IPL8 RCB vs DD: Bangalore finish in third place after match abandoned
Royal Challengers Bangalore had to settle for third spot after their match against the Delhi Daredevils was washed out in the second innings.
RCB were set a target of 188 after half-centuries from Quinton de Kock and JP Duminy helped the visitors to 187-5.
The rains set in during the interval between innings, first delaying the start of the chase, and then again after seven balls had been bowled in the chase.
Rain has caused a stoppage with Bangalore 2-0 in 1.1 overs chasing 188.

Powered by half centuries from South Africans Quinton de Kock (69) and Duminy (67 not out), Delhi made a competitive 187-5 after being put into bat by Bangalore.
Delhi turn it on the final overs with Duminy cracking a couple of boundaries and Tiwary a six off Patel. DD 176-5, 19 overs.
Delhi suffer another setback by the freak dismissal of Mathews failing to ground his bat after backing up too far. DD 141-5, 15.2 overs.
