Fifa World Cup 2014: 8 cards on debut... and nobody's birthday

Benjamin Williams, who became the first Australian referee to control a second-round match at a World Cup during the game between Costa Rica and Greece, will also be remembered because he handed out eight yellow cards during the game.

This was including a second yellow/red card to Costa Rican defender Oscar Duarte.

The referee also finally sent of the Greece Coach Fernando Santos after extra time.
