One from Arsenal’s 8-2 squad leaves for QPR

QPR have signed Arsenal defender Armand Traore on a three-year deal.

Traore made his first appearance for the Gunners in 15 months as Arsene Wenger's men crashed to an 8-2 defeat at Manchester United on Sunday.

Traore, 21, was quoted in The Sun as saying, "When I talked to Neil he was very passionate about what I could bring to the club. He was very motivated about playing me week in, week out and that's what I need at this stage of my career. I'm looking forward to coming here and playing regular football.”

Traore joined Arsenal from Monaco in 2005 but spent time on loan at Juventus and Portsmouth after falling down the pecking order.
