Rasheed stars as Seven Seas beat Danube Lions in Aseel Islamic Finance Ramadan Cup

A fine all-round performance from Amjad Rasheed helped Seven Seas Strikers upset Danube Lions by three wickets in a Group C match of the Aseel Islamic Finance 26th Sharjah Ramadan Cup 2014 Twenty20 cricket tournament.

The tournament is organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council.

Danube Lions were all out for 111 in 18.3 overs despite a battling knock of 33 from Asad Shafiq.

Rasheed finished with a four-wicket haul in his 3.3 overs giving away only 17 runs.

Chasing a relatively modest target, Seven Seas made 114 for seven in 19.1 overs.
