The third edition of Abu Dhabi Electronics Shopper 2015 (ADEShopper 2015) kicks off tomorrow (November 25, 2015), with a number of electronics retailers and world-class brands planning to make it the biggest ever consumer exhibition and sale at ADE Shopper 2015.

The four-day electronics extravaganza runs until Saturday, November 28, and helps retailers tap into the ever-growing Abu Dhabi consumer electronics market.

Samsung Gulf Electronics said it will appear at ADES with new products and competitive promotions. The electronics major said it will serve up exclusive promotions with its top-range electronics, from mobile devices to TVs and home appliances.

“ADES topped our calendars this year as the best electronics platform in the capital, and we’ll bring nothing but the best to the show. Thousands of people attend ADES each season with the aim of getting a look at the latest electronics, and we want to elevate their experience by offering premium products and what we believe are some of the most knowledgeable salespeople and best promotions at the show,” said C. Purushothaman, Head of Marketing in Samsung Gulf Electronics’ IM Division.

“We welcome all customers to Abu Dhabi Electronic Shopper (ADES) 2015, an event which is fast becoming an important fixture in Abu Dhabi offering great shopping experience for all its visitors. We believe in the potential of the Abu Dhabi market for electronics and ADES offers an opportunity for us to participate and get closer to our customers,” said Nilesh Khalkho – CEO, Sharaf DG, who promised that his firm’s ADES promotions this edition will be bigger and better as it joins hands with leading global electronic brands to bring exclusive offers.

“Large platforms such as these have become vital for economies and ADES too has established itself as a strategic platform for Abu Dhabi’s booming Consumer Electronics sector which year on year has only given rise to retailers, thus further boosting the emirate’s rapidly developing economy,” said Neelesh Bhatnagar – CEO, Emax.

“Saying this, our presence at the show this year will once again be a significant one, with an aim to reward our Abu Dhabi based audience with leading technology products at exclusive bargains,” he added.

“As the sell-out partner, Jacky’s Retail will manage the Samsung brand stand at ADES and will display the latest products in all categories including smartphones, audio, video, tablets, printers, monitors, digital cameras, home appliances and accessories,” said Ashish Panjabi – COO, Jacky’s Retail.

The newly launched Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 will be at the show, the firm announced. The South Korean company says its new smartwatch is versatile and intuitive, and builds on years of Samsung’s progressive innovation in wearables.

The company will also be displaying the JS7200 – its most affordable UHD TV.

In addition, ride operator Uber will be offering a free ride (to the venue and back) to customers who download its app.

“Having operated in the UAE for almost two years now, we’ve come to realise that its residents are some of our most tech-savvy global customers. And given that ADES is a hotly anticipated date on Abu Dhabi’s expo calendar, an association with them made sense, giving us the chance to connect with visitors to the exhibition by offering them an authentic experience that defines what the Uber brand is all about,” said Jambu Palaniappan - Regional General Manager, Uber Middle East & Africa.
