BlackBerry’s best curve yet the 9320 smartphone has launched in the UAE almost a month after it was internationally unveiled.

The new curve comes with new BlackBerry OS 7.1, dedicated BBM button, a 3.2MP camera, FM radio and more other cool features.

The phone was launched on May 9 with promise of better social connectivity and 3G connectivity. The dedicated BBM key, the most sought after feature within a BlackBerry handset, ensure that users did not have to go through three different steps to get onto the social networking set up.

Among other features are preloaded apps for Facebook and Twitter, allowing customers to easily interact with their social network in real time. The new Social Feeds 2.0 app allows users to post updates to multiple social networks simultaneously and capture updates from all news sources.

There is also a built-in FM radio and it does not require a data plan or internet connectivity to operate.

In a statement Sandeep Saihgal, Managing Director, Middle East at RIM said the new handset among other features also offers improved battery life. "We believe this compact and stylish new smartphone will be especially popular with customers who are upgrading to a smartphone for the first time as well as existing Curve customers who are looking for a step up in speed and functionality.”
