Ajman Bank losses shrink 28% to Dh15.97m in H1

Ajman Bank losses shrank 28 per cent to Dh15.968 million in the first half of 2010 compared to Dh22.170m for the corresponding period last year.

In a statement to Dubai Financial Market, the Islamic bank said its loss per share contracted from Dh0.02 to Dh0.01 during the period.

Total assets reached Dh2.595 billion at the end of June 30, 2010, from Dh1.5bn for the corresponding period last year, an increase of 42 per cent.

The bank said customer deposits reached Dh1.425bn at the end of June 30, 2010, from Dh786.65m at the end of December 31, 2009.
