Tea exhibition in Dubai will run till March 15

A week-long tea exhibition is being held in Dubai that will showcase a variety of herbal and green teas as well as a selection of hugely popular ‘bubble tea’.

The exhibition, being held at Corp Executive Hotel Apartments in Al Barsha, will run till March 15 and will feature a variety of natural brews for visitors to try and buy.

Aamir Pervez, General Manager, Corp Executive Hotel Apartments Al Barsha, said: “The best flavoured teas are made with natural ingredients and essences, not harsh artificial flavours. The idea behind the show is to exhibit the different traditions of tea ranging from countries such as China, Japan, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Morocco, Iran, Tunisia, Syria, Egypt, Turkey and Britain as well as bubble tea from Taiwan - the latest craze to hit Dubai.

The focus of the exhibition is herbal teas that have long been believed to have curative properties. Yilouhe ChineseGreen Herbal Tea helps cure type 2 diabetes. Claims Dr Lixiaoling who specialises in alternative medicines, “Three cups of Yilouhe Chinese Green Herbal Tea daily can dramatically improve diabetic cases, with many people recovering fully.It also helps in type 1 diabetes and prevents the onset of the condition in healthy people.
