ZOOM stores promote Dubai Metro usage

ZOOM, the convenience store of Dubai Metro, has launched a rewards programme from September 15 at its 41 outlets in 39 stations to encourage the use of the public transport system.

Customers who spend a minimum of Dh15, excluding telephone recharge cards, will receive a  raffle ticket for a chance to ride the Dubai Metro free for a year. Those who spend Dh20 or more will receive two raffle tickets. A total of 30 lucky commuters will get complimentary loaded NOL cards at a raffle draw on October 15.

Burhan Al Hashemi, managing director of ENOC Retail said: “The new rewards programme that has been launched at ZOOM stores in the Dubai Metro network aims to achieve two objectives. The first is to encourage more people to use Dubai Metro. The second objective is to highlight the convenient option that we provide to Dubai Metro commuters.”

ZOOM Metro stores are located in both paid and public areas of the Dubai Metro and are open from 6am to 12am. It offers food products, beverages, magazines and newspapers.

ZOOM stores can also be found in ENOC and EPPCO service stations.  An expanded version of the concept is available as the ZOOM Market along Sheikh Zayed Road.

With more than 70 million customer transactions annually, ENOC Retail today has over 4,000 employees.
