Drake & Scull International (DSI) said it has won new infrastructure EPC contracts amounting to Dh385 million for a coal power plant in India, and complete engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) for the Information Technology and Communication Complex (ITCC) Auxiliary Works in Saudi Arabia.
DSI’s subsidiary in India has signed a Dh205 million contract with a private Energy company in India for the design, engineering, inspection, and delivery of a coal Conveyor system from a Mine Head to a Thermal Power Station in the state of Orissa on an EPC basis. The contract for the ITCC Auxiliary works is valued at Dh180 million and will be jointly undertaken by Drake & Scull’s local Engineering and General Contracting divisions in KSA.
