Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc) unveiled its first Zoom Mart, a home-grown 24-hour neighbourhood grocery, in Royal Breeze 1, a residential community in Al Hamra Village, Ras Al Khaimah.
Burhan Al Hashemi, Managing Director of Enoc Retail and Lisa Ruddock, Group Leasing Manager - Retail of Al Hamra Real Estate Development officially inaugurated the Zoom Mart, which offers bakery products, meat and poultry, fresh fruit and vegetables, speciality coffees, pre-packed meals and a number of other products that adds value to the convenience of residents.
Saeed Khoory, Chief Executive Officer of Enoc, said: “The opening of Zoom Mart in Ras Al Khaimah highlights our strategy of expanding our Retail business to new geographies.
Zoom is now a widely recognised brand that has redefined the concept of convenience retailing. We will continue to focus on strengthening our retail footprint, offering our customers innovative lifestyle experiences.”
Burhan Al Hashemi added: “Zoom Mart is a slightly scaled down version of our Zoom Market, and it reflects our commitment to support the UAE Government’s directives to upgrade the grocery business in the country.”
Zoom Market currently has three outlets in Dubai – the 3,500 square foot flagship on Sheikh Zayed Road, one in Dorra Bay tower at Dubai Marina and another at the Remal Mall in the upscale Al Barari. More outlets are scheduled to open in the near future.
