Apple’s bigger sized iPad could finally roll out into the retail market by 2015, latest reports indicate.
It was long rumoured that Apple could be working on a bigger sized iPad and a devise that could soon replace a notebook.
Bigger Apple, Samsung tablets?
While Samsung already announced its 12-plus inch tablet through the Galaxy tab Pro, there has been no specific information on Apple’s plans.
Earlier this year, Samsung showcased two new 12.2-inch tablets, one each from the NotePro and TabPro series.
Now Bloomberg in its latest report quoting ‘knowledgeable sources’ point out that the suppliers are already making arrangements for the production of the large sized iPad.
The production according to the report is scheduled to commence by the first quarter of 2015.
The iPad Max as we can call it now could be 12.9 inches diagonal. While the 9.7-inch iPad and the 7.9-inch iPad Mini has been performing well, there has been a demand for Apple to come out with a larger sized iPad. With laptop sales dropping faster than expected, it is even expected that Apple could prep up the features to match that of Macbook Air.
