Emaar Properties, Dubai’s largest developer, has released the first video of its iconic The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour.
Costing $1 billion (Dh3.67 billion), The Tower in Dubai Creek Harbour, a 6 square kilometer master development, will be a notch higher than 828-metre Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower.
“We are keeping the height quiet at this stage… probably we announce when we open up the tower. It will be notch taller than Burj Khalifa,” Emaar Properties Chairman Mohamed Alabbar had said at the launch of the tower on April 10.

“From Nature stems an icon that has overcome all limits. The elements working together as one with culture rooted in all of us. A stage where everything is possible,” according to the video presentation released yesterday.
“A place where the air is crisp and the stars are in your grasp. An idea so grand it needed one vision to build that... a vision with a new point of view. So when you look at the world, the world will not look back at you,” it states
Emirates 24|7 reported that The Tower will have ‘swinging platforms’ and ‘open elevators’.
“There will be swinging platforms so people will be able to go into the platform and then the platform will turn and you will in the viewing deck,” Santiago Calatrava Valls, theSpanish-Swiss neo-futuristic architect, told this website.
The video, in fact, shows the swinging movement of the viewing platform.
