19kg heroin, 4kg hashish seized in UAE

Sharjah Police’s Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has arrested five people after 19kg of heroin and 4kg of hashish were found in their possession.

Three of the arrested people were UAE citizens, one a Comoros national and another a Tanzanian.

Two of them were held in Ajman.

Two kilo of hashish and 150 grams of heroin were recovered from them.

Some of the drugs seized were found buried in sand in Ajman.
