Pakistani youth drowns in Sharjah beach

Weekend enjoyment for two Pakistani youngsters turned tragic as one lost his life and the other is battling for his life.

According to a report in Arabic daily Al Khaleej, the 20-year-old youth drowned in Al Khan beach in Sharjah while his 19-year-old friend is critical.

Police rushed to the beach on receiving calls from a beach goer who reportedly saw the victim struggling to swim.

Cops recovered the body of the youngster and transferred the deceased to Al Kuwaiti Hospital.
