PAB who has been arrested by Sharjah Police for murder of a supermarket accountant.
Sharjah Police has solved the case of murder of a 53-year-old Indian accountant of a supermarket in the emirate’s Industrial Zone 10.
The victim’s body was found in a pool of blood in an apartment rented by the supermarket. The body showed several stab wounds.
Police suspected an employee of the supermarket and interrogated him.
He broke down and confessed to the crime.
The arrested man said he wanted to rob the supermarket’s cash that the victim took to the apartment. He also admitted that he was aware the victim would be in the apartment at that time.
The arrested man admitted that he went to the apartment and asked the victim for some money as loan. He killed the victim after the loan was refused.
He also stole Dh82,900 from the apartment before fleeing the scene.
The arrested man, PAB, has been referred to the public prosecutor.
