Tailor's threat to kill boss if deported

A Bangladeshi tailor allegedly threatened to kill his employer and his family if the latter deported him, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

IK, 26, is also accused of abusing his employer and his family.

On February 23, the compatriot employer AJ, 36, got a phone call from the tailor.

“He asked me for his dues and passport. He also asked me not to deport him or he would kill me and my family. He also abused me saying that he will have sex with my mother and wife,” the employer told investigators.

The employer was recording the conversation. Supported by the recording, he lodged a complaint with the police.

Criminal evidences reported that the victim was abused and threatened.

Police arrested IK and the latter admitted to his crime before investigators.

The tailor failed to attend the hearing and the court will give its sentence on July 13.
